"I had a great stay at Location Alabin Hotel. The hotel is in a very convenient central location, within easy walking distance of Sofia's main attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The staff were friendly, responsive, and very communicative before and during my stay. Check-in was smooth, despite me arriving 1:30 am. "The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. However we had booked a roo. With 4 beds so we got a room with 2 proper beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was terrible which the staff couldn't help at all, so I won't recommend this to anyone. The swimming pool was clean and good how're they have a rule to use swim cap, which wasnt handy"

All that being said the ambient noise was just too much to accept for a premium offering of a Hyatt property. We were allocated a room on the first floor above what I can only imagine is a nightclub that was pumping music until just past midnight on a Sunday night. "After spending one night at a "horror hotel" upon arrival, we were able to book our group into the Best Western Plus Olives City Hotel. This was the right move - we were three adults and two kids, and the "two-room apartment" they had on the 7th floor was perfect, and an added bonus of a hotel parking and an indoor pool made our lives easier for the duration of the stay. Breakfast was good too! Recommend!"
