"Though it's old, this isn't a bad place, but there were enough problems with the room we were in that I'd never stay here again. The big problem was the heater/air conditioner in the wall. Though it had several different settings, most of them didn't work. The unit was either full-on or off, and when set for an in-between temperature, simply went on and off all night--ten or fifteen seconds on (with the fan roaring), then fifteen or twenty seconds off, with all the attendant on/off clicking. I'm by no means a light sleeper, but it kept me awake for some time and woke me up repeatedly. A new unit is needed in Room 112! Also, the TV simply doesn't work. I wondered why it was pushed against the side wall until I tried to turn it on and nothing happened. No big deal for me, but clearly the management knows about the problem. And the pillows are shot, the linens worn, no mat to prevent slipping in the shower, etc--all easily addressed, if anyone is paying attention. Sometimes an older, inexpensive place is fine for the night; this one wasn't. Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but the management needs to spend just a little money."

"We stayed at the hotel for one week and really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed, and the heating system. All the staff who assisted us were very kind and welcoming. The location is convenient, and even the we left early and returned late, it was always pleasant to come back. Our room had a renovated bathroom, and although the décor was not modern, it was well maintained and presentable."

"I booked 2 months in advance to make sure we got the room we wanted. Only for them to tell us when we got there that..oh we tried to call you telling you we don't have that room available and we had to give you another room. They called myself and my mother a day before confirming if we were going or not? Obviously..If we had booked the rooms in advance then obviously we were coming. My mom's room smelt like old musty stale cigarettes that not even leaving the fan on all day in the room could get the smell out. Walked into the bathroom to find bugs. Told the front desk about it and the only thing I got was a look of bewilderment asking if I wanted to check out because they had no rooms left. The fist size hole in the wall was a lovely addition to the room as well as the gash in the bathroom door. People are opening and slamming doors when you are trying to sleep and there's barely enough parking for anyone because there people who live there . It's difficult to find a cat friendly hotel so this is why we resorted to this one. Adding into this review this place is festooned with black mold in both my mom's room and our room and someone OD'd in the parking lot tonight "
