Although it’s a little further from the city, it’s a short tuktuk ride ($3) into town. And Angkor complex is just around the corner so we actually found the location to be perfect for us. "

"The hotel was cute and the Wi-Fi environment was excellent. However, the reason I gave the lowest rating is because of the disappointing response from the hotel staff. When I returned to my room and opened my toothbrush case in the bathroom, a cockroach came in through a gap. At that moment, I asked the hotel staff to change my room, but they refused. The staff told me they had removed the cockroach from my room, so I felt relieved. However, when I opened the bathroom trash bin, I found the cockroach inside. It seems the staff did not throw it outside but simply put it in the room’s trash bin. When I tried to discuss it further, they told me, “We don’t want to change the room for you,” so I left with a very unpleasant feeling. I understand that in Cambodia, it is natural for insects to exist. But lying to guests is a different matter. It was extremely unpleasant."

The hotel is a beautiful oasis, and the staff could not be more attentive to their guests. There are so many little touches that make the experience exceptional - I highly recommend passing through Cambodia to see the ancient history and the Jaya house is the place you need to stay during your visit!"

"The hotel and staff could not have been nicer. The property is great with the rooms surrounding two lovely pools. The food was universally good. And the room was excellent. Especially the huge semi-outdoor bathroom with a massive bath. (And, of course, shower.) As was the service. 20 minutes in one direction, Angkor Wat. And, in the other, the center of Siem Reap. It was ideal for five days of visiting the temples, providing both comfort and escape from the heat. Congratulations to all hotel staff."

"Extremely polite and helpful staff. They accommodated dietary restrictions and also prepared breakfast boxes for us to take with us as we had wanted to go see the sunrise at Angkor Wat temple. The pool was wonderful and very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. "

This small family run six room boutique hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes outside of the city. If you want a taste of real Cambodia, go here. We took a tuk tuk into town at least once every day and the cost is $2.50 USD. It is fairly close to Ankor Wat. "
