"The whole hotel smelled of smoke. I had to wear a breathing mask to bed. The shared bathroom assignments were confusingly marked. My mattress was damaged with a lengthwise divot. This hotel is in the city's party area. This was the last affordable Expedia listings for my night near the train station. It was a holiday weekend and most of the other customers were partiers or hook-ups. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel."

"Had a wonderful stay. Corner room was a lovely size with great view. Happy hour was excellent in the bar and food was good. Very well run hotel - highly recommend. We had the set menu for a special occasion which was a bit too adventurous - should have gone with the teppanyaki as as advised!"

"Our stay here was great. The hotel is a bit dated but it is conveniently located, the room was very clean and large, housekeeping was thorough and the breakfast was fantastic. Our daughter loved the automatic pancake machine and rice dispencer. Very cool. The staff were exceptional as well. Really great service here. The location is walkable to the major sites around Hiroshima and we took a nearby ferry to Hiyajima as well. If you care about having something young and trendy, this may not be the right choice but it definitely worked for us. "

"A wonderful hotel, welcoming, surrounded by great views and a lovely circular walk, small beaches and woods. The ferry went from the door, as did the free shuttle bus, all run like clockwork. Large room with a glass wall looking onto the bay and sofa. Nice cafe and lots of other facilities we didnt use."
