"The property was large, spacious, and generally clean, so overall our stay was not unpleasant. However, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We tried contacting reception on multiple occasions but were never able to get through, and the reception desk closes at 5pm, which further limited support when needed. "Lovely boutique hotel. Easy check-in at the bar. Convenient parking around the corner in a gated lot. We stayed in a comfortable third-floor walk-up efficiency room. There is a tiny but well-appointed kitchenette, an enormous soaking tub, and beautiful skylights with inset remote-controlled blinds."

"The resort was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was a little tired, cracked floor tiles in bathroom, missing outside handle on patio doors but very spacious and well equipped except no oven trays. We enjoyed our stay and it’s a dog friendly place. Be aware there is no restaurant or bar on site."

"Lion Hotel has everything we required for our weeks stay. An excellent varied evening menu offering choices of both Indian and English dishes. The buffet breakfast offered all the usual fair which the staff constantly kept topped up. Our double room was spacious with clean en-suite facilities. All the hotel staff were pleasant and willing to help you in anyway they could. The bottom line is, yes we would be happy to stay at The Lion Hotel again."

"We stayed in he hotel for 5 days. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were very friendly and the the customer service was excellent. The staff made sure our stay was comfortable and nothing was too much to ask. We ate in the restaurant every night and tried many dishes from the menu. The food was excellent and could not fault any of the meals. Waiting staff, chef, front of house and bar staff well done. Very enjoyable holiday in lovely surroundings."
