"I look this place up online after staying there and it was built in 1957. The air conditioning worked well but it was not on when we went in the room so we had to wait a little while for it to cool down. We went out to get something to eat and by the time we got back it was OK. The sheets and pillows had stains on them…didn’t care for that. The toilet and shower were functional but old. "We checked in after hours so our check in letter was on the counter with all the check in directions. The sliding door, at the ramp to use the cart to transport our luggage inside, was turned off. We had to call the person on call to help who had to call maintenance and they were able to trouble shoot and found that the power to the door was turned off. I think this is the only issue we had. "The place was listed to be the best in the area, which was a complete lie. It was dirty rundown things were broken, torn, moldy, not cleaned wallpaper peeling rusted. It was downright disgusting terrible circumstances no housekeeping staff on the weekend no maintenance staff on the weekend. one elevator to use and the one elevator that was available smelled like urine it listed as pool and hot tub. There was no water in the hot tub and the pool looked like you could catch something by touching...

"BarDew Valley Inn and its owner, Perry, were amazing!! The suite decor was fun (ours was a French Chateau), and the common areas beautiful and comfortable. Perry offers a movie room with a huge selection of DVDs, as well as satellite TV in both the common area and each suite. And his breakfast each morning was delicious! We would definitely stay again (and maybe try a different suite!) when we are in that area again."

"This is an older building but it was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice. We were there on the 4th of July, people were shooting fireworks off everywhere and a big storm rolled in. The power went off for an hour and I felt safe leaving the door open all that time. I would definitely stay there again."
