Goodmore Hotel is in a great location, between Youbike stations and on the bus lines. Down the street from Da’an park was a bonus! I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a safe area. There is a 24-hr supermarket and a police station next to it. It's close to the Shiida night market and Shiida University. The walk to MRT station is about 10 min. Room space is more than adequate at this price point. Wish the bathroom had more hangers for towels and the mattress can be softer. We enjoyed our stay at Goodmore.

Clean and friendly

As always, the Goodmore is one of my favorite hotels in Taipei. It’s close to Da’an Park, cafes, and restaurants. It’s clean, friendly, and has small perks like a well-stocked snack and coffee area.

As always, I enjoyed my stay. The standards remain high and the small things like a small Business Centre with coffee (real coffee machine), snacks, a recycle bin in the foyer, and attentive staff give it a welcoming feel!

The reception staff make the difference!

As always, the reception staff are amazing! They always make me feel welcome, very different from many places that take a ‘functional’ approach. The double rooms are big, comfortable and super clean. The small business area has snacks and a real coffee machine.

Pros: 1) There's a communal space for free tea, coffee, and some snacks. 2) It's close to many cafes and restaurants. Cons: 1) The room was very humid and smelled due to the high humidity. The fact that it has no windows makes things worse. 2) The wifi was fairly unstable. I had to travel and work during my time there, and it did not allow stable connections. You might need to reconsider if you need good wifi for meetings online. 3) One has to walk about 1km to go to the closest MRT station. You don't have to do that unless you use Uber or take buses all the time.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. They have good local food recommendations. Only down side was that the sound proofing in the room isn’t great. I could hear my neighbour cursing when they dropped something next door.

Quality of rooms, hallways, and especially "business center" was unexpectedly low. Had problems with WiFi. Problems communicating with most staff in English. In sum this is a hotel for budget travelers, although the price does not suggest it. For me, as I needed to be nearby, location was convenient.

My second time staying here, and I was perfectly happy since I was a solo traveler. Rooms are small and my room (double twin) didn't have a closet... just hooks and hangers on the wall. But it did have good wifi, quality linens, modern bathroom, a safe, and a small fridge. Staff are friendly and there are complimentary snacks and beverages in the lounge. A small Carrefour supermarket is literally next door. Overall, an excellent value and a great location near Shida and Da'an Forest Park, though it's a 10-12 min walk to the nearest metro (Guting or Dongmen stations); fortunately there are tons of bus stops within 50 meters.
