Basic value with local atmosphere

Great place to mix with the locals. Received excellent info on "off the beaten path" places to go. This is a basic overnight stay and good value. Breakfast was adequate. The adjoining restaurant was excellent and one of the best of our two weeks in Italy.

OK and pretty clean

In general, our stay was as expected and advertised: small hotel with small rooms, relatively clean (although certain parts could benefit from a renovation) and with a nice, but small breakfast buffet. The three little "but" against a four star voting are: - Service: if you have a mini bar, make sure it contains what's listed on the corresponding card... and not just water... - Room Comfort: digital TV with hundreds of channels are great, but not if almolst all of them are Italian... - Surrounding: It was quite loudly, but that was probably due to the children's birthday party, that took place right outside our window ^^

While the hotel was excellent and the staff great, Expediate claimed that the hotel provided free pick up at the train and a shuttle (surcharge) to the airport. We only chose this hotel in a small rural village because of that claim. There was no train station in Taino. The nearest was 10 minutes away. The phone number on Expedia was incorrect. The men in the station spoke little English. I finally explained my problem and they found a different phone number for the hotel. They were able to find someone to pick us up but it cost us 20 euro. The hotel said they have been with Expedia for a few years and never provided free pickup at the station. They were 30 minutes from the airport which was not close and cost another 40 euro. I booked this place because it was reasonable and not only had extra expense but considerable stress besides. I will hesitate to trust Expedia after this. Patricia Berens, Chicago area.

Hotel complessivamente positivo

L'Hotel è un po' fuori mano si trova a Taiano vicino ad Anghera, per arrivarci bisogna memorizzare il percorso Abbiamo trovato buone le condizioni di mezza pensione, anche se le condizioni che abbiamo trovato spesso non sono state sempre chiare rispetto alla mezza pensione. Consiglio se optate per questa soluzione di chiarire bene prima della partenza le condizioni. Le camere pulite e spaziose, la prima colazione buona come anche la cucina. Positiva l'esperienza ma la prossima volta opterei per il prenottamento e la prima colazione.

Gutes Hotel in der Ortsmitte

Wir hatten eine sehr spontane Buchung von 2 Zimmern in dem Hotel. Irgendwie kam nur die hälfte der Zimmer beim Hotel an. Dieses konnte aber dann doch noch kurzfristig angepasst werden. Das Hotel hat einen großen Garten der mitbenutzt werden kann. Die Entfernung zum Lago Maggiore ist mit dem Auto leicht zu machen. Parkplätze waren auch immer zu finden. Das im Hotel befindliche Restaurant wird seperat bewirtschaftet und bietet gute Qualität zum brauchbaren Preis. Ob das nach dem Pächterwechsel auch so ist, bleibt abzuwarten.

Very good value

The level of service delivered is very good value in my opinion. The rooms are nice, have a of lot amenities (safe, minibar etc). The breakfast is quite nice, by Italian stardards of course. You get fresh cappuccino's and brioche from the espressobar, juices and even grilled toast. However, don't get fooled in thinking this is a five star hotel. For instance the rooms are not very well (noise)isolated which makes sleep hard if you have loud neighbors. You get what you pay for. I would come here again. The restaurant next door, that goes by the same name, is quite adorable btw, also very good value.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Tolle Lage um Touren im Bereich Lago Maggiore, Lombardei und Piemont zu machen. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre im Hotel. Wir werden bestimmt wieder dort Urlaub machen. Super Günstig

Hotel vicino al lago in posto tranquillo

Siamo arrivati al sabato pomeriggio e ripartiti il lunedi . In hotel solo il tempo di dormire e fare colazione.

Great value

Great value. Hotels in this region can get quite expensive, and this was a good price. I mean you shouldn't expect great furniture, or a large bath, but it was clean and comfortable. One thing that did stood out to be improved, is that the walls must be very thin, as the neighboring rooms can be heard quite easily. One plus is that their restaurant next door is also quite good value.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Si tratta più di una locanda che un albergo, situata sopra all'omonimo ristorante in centro a Taino. E' un paese tranquillo e fuori dal traffico, ma a soli 5 minuti dal lago maggiore. Il personale è cordiale e amichevole. Le stanze pulite e silenziose. L'arredamento dovrebbe essere un po' più curato. Nel complesso è un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
