No hot water and the shower head holder is broken and keeps coming off. The room smelled musty on arrival. There was water under the bed and under the bedside table. I stood on it when I got out of bed. Lighting was very poor in the room and the room is so outdated
Staff were excellent and friendly.
Breakfast was good to start the day.
Condition of the room was not at all good. Drawer was broken, water from bathroom leaked and came in the room, iron was not working properly, it was overall dirty and bad condition. Linens and towels looked beige and stained.
Very convenient to the city and other central favorites though.
We had to request to change rooms as the room that was booked was very dirty. The bathtub had yellow water in it and there was insects in it as well. The staff was accommodating and change our room but the new room had cockroaches running around. The sofa in the room had bedbugs as I got a rash after sitting on it. The TV remotes did not work. There was times the TV did not work as there was no sound coming out of it. The place definitely not worth what you pay for.
Rooms are very congested and shower is too small to get in and out also shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom stinks so bad that you can’t even use it. Very poor lighting in the rooms and some lights don’t even work. Absolute waste of time and money. Never going back there ever again.
Check-in was smooth. Hotel is purely 0 class. The room was falling into pieces. Bed and beddings were dirty, full of dust, bed bugs, cockroaches roaming around, lizards as well. No hairdryer, very slow pressure on shower. Have to ask for towels. This place is so bad, the owners of this hotel should be shameful. They are taking large amount of money from poor customers for such in-habitable hotels.
Only the bar area staff were on point. Reception and dining staff need more training

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Well I got this place as my first place in the city. After I went to another hotel. The difference is why I rate this 3/5. This was 3X more expensive but the breakfast was far worse than the next hotel. It’s just not worth the rate when it’s compared to other places. The city is so walkable that this wasn’t any more or less convenient than the next hotel. Perhaps I wasn’t the intended clientele because I wasn’t here for business? I’m not sure. I appreciated having WiFi and air conditioning in the room.

Towels
Are always a problem. We had to ask for bath mats and there were no hand towels. The aircon was too big for a small
Room and the shower door was ridiculously too small. One has to squeeze a whole body in to shower. I bet most big sized people would not be able to fit. The lifts are very dirty and needs thorough cleaning
This hotel has seen better days, the rooms are shabby, and breakfast was very limited. However, the service provided by the receptionist Lorrain was exceptional.
