Perfect one night stay

We stayed here for one night on our way to Bali. Nice oriental style hotel with a large swimming pool for relaxing. Large rooms, clean, several restaurants, good service. Also close to a large shopping mall with may restaurants.

Lovely hotel, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Staff are efficient and friendly. Must try the coffee and tea at the lobby cafe, they're amazing! Only improvement I hope the hotel will make is on the in-room toiletries but that's a small matter.

Hotel was excellent with big room. Room was clean. Toilet cover needs to be changed coz it looks old and dirty. Breakfast spread was great. I will come back again for sure if I’m going to Surabaya. Staffs were friendly and polite.

Could be better

It’s my favourite hotel but the maintenance is not upto the mark. Aircon wasn’t functioning well- room temperature kept going higher inspite of lowering the temperature at the controls. They got to do better if I have to continue my patronage. Service by Mr Dhoni at the restaurant was highly commendable, people like him making me to revisit but the upkeep with the maintenance has to balance. I’m willing to give one more chance- if it remains the same or worsens- I will have to make other choices

The public spaces and breakfast were great. The gardens are lovely. My 5th floor room had many mosquitos and little black flies. The bathroom was dirty (hair in the shower drain -- not mine -- that was not cleaned out til the third day, and lots of mildew) and the lighting was very dim. The rug had stains. When the sun came in, the room was much too hot. The AC wasnt very effective. The wifi was unreliable and often cut out in the room.

Incredible hotel - but give the fish a better tank

Absolutely amazing stay Hotel is just beautiful. I just can’t bear to see exotic fish living in such small bare empty tanks - no plants, no rocks, just emptiness and bright Lights 24/7 thats not how they live in real life. I would prefer to see an incredible statue of picture than the fish in such awful desolate lonely conditions.

I always stay at this hotel every time I visited Indonesia. I love their breakfast and restaurant menus. Quiet place even though you’re in the middle of city, you feel like you’re in the village. Serene and beautiful. Staffs are amazing. You are treated like a special guess. I will always stay here when I’m in town, I totally recommend this hotel for anybody coming visit Surabaya.
