"Positives: it was about -17 outside and very worm inside, toilet worked and relatively clean, beds were OK, tv worked. Negatives: microwave was not rotating and rusted; there were no place to hang outside closes; towels were on microwave and not in the bathroom; door did not have lock inside, only outside; there were no internal phone or any way to call management; internet was locked and password was not provided; lamp on the night stand was broken, no USB ports. "

"The property is a sub basement of a house. The entrance is through the garage and it’s tiny. Difficult to get thru the doors to the basement. The place is minimally furnished. It is located at the far north end of Richmond Hill away from commercial activities. I would not rent this place again. Owner is quick to respond to requests. "

"The heater makes far too much noise keeps you awake most of the night and needs replacing. However, the breakfast was substantial."

"The room was advertised as "soundproof" room, that was not the case! You can hear! The room turns out to be a lot smaller than I thought. I couldn't even open my suitcase flat out on the floor. I didn't want to put it on the bed to dirty it. After the first day when I return, my room was reek of heavy cigarette smells. After complain to the owner the next day it's not there anymore, however there are times to times you can smell a little bit but thank goodness it was not like before! The...

"Breakfast is amazing!"

"Location offered easy parking access and my car felt secure. I used public transit from the hotel into the city, and there were ample bus options available. (Though driving to a GO Station or Subway station would be recommended, for timeliness). Hotel staff were very welcoming and both check in and out were fast. The hotel felt quiet, offered all the amenities needed, and was perfect for one night as a solo individual. For the price, would stay here again. "
