"This hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS! Every detail is solidly and thoughtfully constructed, from the chair rail lining the hallway to the sliding bathroom door. But form without function is of little value, and the staff brings the function in spades. Everyone we met went out of their way to answer our questions. Special shout out to Reginald at the concierge desk-he was kind, knowledgeable and generous with his time and helped us to book an amazing outing! He knows the area and the hotel inside...

"It was unfortunate that the hotel was undergoing renovations and replacing plumbing was part of it. And water coming out of the bath tub was brown and contend grains of sand and metal, so taking a bath was out of the question. "
