This was the worst experience in over 50 years of travelling for business and leisure!
Upon arriving, the building was locked and appeared to be unoccupied. No response to knocking and doorbell ringing. I called the number as per the note on the door. This number was “no longer in service”. I called the establishment's phone number as posted in Expedia. The call went through to voicemail, where I left a detailed message. No response. 15 minutes later I left another message….no response. Fortunately, a resident of the building arrived and let us in. She does not work for the establishment but she searched and found us an unlocked room that was clean. After several attempts by her to contact the owner, finally she was able to get her. The owner said the room that we were in was fine and that someone would stop in to check on us. This never happened. After several calls for assistance, none were responded to.
I would suggest Expedia delist this establishment!!!
