"So happy to have discovered this interesting and beautiful hotel! We chose it because the price was good and we suddenly needed to stop as we were traveling in the area. Ots more than we expected - really an historic renovated very cool place. The owner has given great detail to everything. Gorgeous artifax, furniture, attention to tiny details, including freshly baked sourdough bread at the excellent breakfast (we bought some to take with us, the crust was so good). The pool is small but just fine! Sauna was good. We ended up staying longer than we thought and once we were moved to a room with screens on the windows, it was a perfect stay. "A place to go for uploading your batteries"

"Great location for us on the way to cross over to Sweden just a few days later. Big and nice area. Felt like it was not taken care of tthough, needs better cleaning and landscaping resources. Also the supermarket really needs to extend there opening hours! Closing at 18 is not good enough. Much of the swimming area was closed for renovation but we had fun anyway. Big and nice house to live in. No noice from Autobahn to our house."

"Comfortable stay in a cozy cottage. The room is equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle. Breakfast is very good. We also had a nice dinner in the hotel pizzeria with an affordable price. The only disappointment is a pool. It is small and crowded, and water is too warm."

"I was impressed with this hotel and would recommend it. The single room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast (included in the price) was excellent with wide spread of choices. Help yourself. After a long flight to Berlin the hotel an hour north was an ideal stopping place."
