"This is an exceptional place to stay near Malpensa Airport. Eva is very efficient & helpful regarding check in and shuttle to from MXP (included in room price). This was the most comfortable bed & room of our one month in Italy, & we had a lot of comfortable rooms! Breakfast space is light & tasteful, excellent choice of food."

"Lovely place with great views and very helpful and friendly hosts. They helped with great ideas to make the most of our evening in the area before flying out from MXP. "

"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better:
-Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe...

"What is delightful experience! Louda and her son were the perfect hosts! I loved the ambiance of this delightful little hotel! The balcony of our room, which overlooked the piazza was a bonus.
I had a little bit of trouble finding the hotel, since we were walking from the train station, but it was worth the extra time!
It had been my dream to see Lago Maggiore for many decades, and my visit remains prominent in my memories. My hug from Lauda at departure will stay in my heart forever!"
"Staff are excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful but there are one or two things that I would expect in a five star hotel namely - no mirror in the bedroom, no heating, the room was very chilly, the safe is far too small and the water wasn’t very hot. Nothing major was wrong but just a few niggles that shouldn’t have to be brought to the staff’s attention."
"Breakfast Menu could be a lot better, as there was no choice for a Hot Breakfast, other than very runny scrambled eggs, which were un-eatable, so in the end
I had to go out to a Restaurant for Breakfast.
Also very disappointing that the Hotel did not have
Tea and Coffee facilities in the room.
The Hotel itself was lovely and The Lake View from our
Rooms, was absolutely Stunning.
Stresa and the surrounding Areas were very Beautiful and
we will be returning again."
"Front desk staff and concierge were accommodating and friendly. One person was not so nice - ignored us standing there for quite a while even though no one else was around. But other than that, excellent!
Spa was amazing! We enjoyed it every day. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Stresa is an enchanting enclave on Lago Maggiore. the hotel is modern, very nicely appointed. We had a balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool, bar, and incredible views of the lake and mountains round out what is a fabulous hotel. Oh, did I mention the spa. Everything you need to relax.
It's hard to go wrong with any location in Stresa, it's such a small town. Nicely situated on the lake and easy access to the Boromean islands and Verbania, on the opposite side of the lake."
"Hotel Della torre was a pretty good spot. Semi ish far from downtown but I think all the hotels are. Good showers with good pressure. There was always hot water available. Wasn’t allowed to change to room temperature and it was kind of humid in the rooms. Balcony was a nice reprieve and allowed for some air flow. Took off a star cause we chose this hotel due to the hotel.com advertisement of airport shuttles and the hotel did not have airport shuttles."
"Hotel website is misleading since they indicate rooms have air conditioning however it’s only seasonal. Rooms very hot and can’t open the balcony door because it’s full of spiders at night and extremely noisy. Couldn’t sleep much at night."
