Correct hotel for a short imnprovised stay

It was a short term stay, urgently organized, with the hotel position quite far from the business destination. Hotel is modest but correct. rerceptionists were very friendly adn ready to help in all my demands.

This hotel is one of the cheapest hotel in Strazbourg. It was the reason that I am choosing this hotel twice within two years. Although it's rooms are pretty small, they are clean and able to get warm in a short time with the electric heater. Because it is one of the cheapest hotel, there were a group of male minibus drivers and workers in the hotel.

Bed bugs in room. Old structure, worn out and dirty carpeting in common areas. Nice and helpful desk clerks.

The room was crowded y the beds and with 4 or us there was barely room for a suitcase as well. The beds and pillows were a bit musty. But at least the view or train tracks out the window kept the kids busy every 10 minutes or less.

The building is dilapidated, the room had a mouldy smell from the rotten bathroom door frame. The car park has no drop kerb entrance, the fence surrounding the car park had large gaps in it, and there were people milling about in the car park all through the night.

Possible One Star Hotel

The hotel had construction going on inside of building. The bathroom is very small-it's not even possible to change inside of the bathroom. The beds were very uncomfortable and I don't think they clean all of the bedding.

A good night's sleep

The hotel is in a retail park just off the motorway passing Strasbourg. It is clearly in need of a lick of paint, but there are signs that this will happen soon. The service was friendly and competent, the WiFi good, and the bed very comfortable. The other minor downsides were the noise one night of other guests talking in the corridors late at night, and the bathroom, which was old-fashioned and cramped, as if it came of a boat. But overall, very good value for money and I got three good nights sleep.

Smoky and noisy.

The hotell offers a good value for the price. But it was very noisy because the noisy doors in the corridor. Very noisy all until very late in the evening. A heavy smell of cigarett-smoke in the room. Even the bed was with a heavy smell of smoke. Internet was good and the breakfast good as well for the price of 5 Euro/person. The attendment was excellent ! In all a reasonable stay for the price though.

The hotel is rundown. It does not look like the pictures on the booking site. Bathroom was Very small, like you were in a motor home. No air conditioning and super hot. The window could be only cracked at the top.

Hotel room is dusty & dirty especially the tiny toilet you cannot even move. We have to clean it by ourselves before we used it and the shower drainage was clogged up. We stayed at this hostel for 4 nights and they didn't clean our room even a single day we stayed there. Only good for an over night stay! I am Not recommending this hostel to anyone.💯

There were three of us. We indicated 2 beds in the reservation, this issue was no longer discussed in the correspondence. When we arrived late at night and paid for the room, saw that there was only one bed. They did not begin to resolve the issue, referring to the fact that the entire hotel is full and they cannot do anything, and with whom we communicated, that person is not there and no longer available. After 15 minutes of proceedings, we got our money back and just left. Lucky we live relatively close.

Uncomfortable during the summer. The Staff was really amazing, but the quality of the accommodation is not upto the mark. The rooms have no furniture and the bathroom is like an airplane cabin. Reasonable for the sky, unreasonable here on the ground. Because of the location in the industrial area, There was a truck parked outside my room which kept its engine on (possibly to have ac in the cabin) , filling the poorly ventilated hotel room in 32°c heat with fumes. When I complained, the nice receptionist asked the truck to be shut down. Soon after, they started playing music, this continued way past midnight. Shutting the window was also no option. Maybe an unfair comparison, but in Germany this would be a police matter that gets resolved in 5 minutes. But here, the whole night was ruined.
