Hidden Gem

The Hobble Inn was the perfect place for our Mother/Daughter getaway to Stowe. Quiet area within close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very clean and the breakfasts were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hobble Inn, it is truly a lovely B&B! Mary was a fantstic host and was so friendly to chat with and gave good reccomendations on local things to do and places to eat. The house itself is beautiful. I stayed in the single room downstairs. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a nice quiet night's sleep. The best thing about my stay was the breakfast in the morning. Mary made french toast waffels with local maple syrup and bacon. Declicous! The location was great, just a 2 min walk to the centre of Stowe. It was an authntic experience staying here, so much nicer than a hotel.

Great weekend getaway

Only a block from the towncenter of Stowe. Toto washlet toilet and amazing morning breakfast are the highlights of my stay plus Mary being a wonderful host.

Hobble Inn is very cozy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is an easy walk to the town of Stowe. I wish I had known my room had a shared bathroom.

Cramped Air B & B type set-up

The hosts were extremely nice but the fact of the matter was we were in the owners back bedroom. Cramped low ceiling back bedroom and could have been sharing one bathroom with boarders in two other rooms. Thought it was a proper bed and breakfast and instead we were in someone’s cramped home

A cozy and sweet home, with the most delicious breakfast. The house is laid out so the rooms feel very private, and there is ample common areas for guest use. Best of all, within 5 minutes of the center of Stowe, walking access to shops and restaurants.

What a great find

I needed a place to stay in order to get an early start skiing. The Hobble Inn is in a great location only 6 miles from the mountain tucked away on a quiet street in town. Its warm and comfortable. The following morning I enjoyed a a very tasty breakfast that made a great start to the day. Highly recommended!!!

Delightful Bed and Breakfast

Mary made me feel welcome and cared for from the minute of my arrival until I left the next morning. Her manner is kind without being intrusive, and her home is spacious. clean, and comfortable. My fellow guests were friendly and interesting: so interesting, in fact, that I lingered over our delicious breakfast for an extra hour before I made my farewells and resumed my journey.

Hobble Inn - great B&B

I had a great weekend in Stowe, Vermont and really enjoyed the hospitality of the Hobble Inn. Mary was a very warm and welcoming host and cooked us up an awesome breakfast each morning. I would definitely stay at this B&B again.
