"Great modern hotel in a very small town off of the highway. We decided to stay somewhere outside of Dublin after visiting Dublin for a couple of days on our way further south to the Ireland coast. This was a perfect place for that. This was a perfect hotel for that. It was a very large facility with a great morning breakfast and a nice onsite bar and restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place when exploring the countryside in the area."

The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. "We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

"We had a lovely stay at Lyrath Estate from the 1st to the 4th of January. The hotel was still decorated for Christmas, which added to the festive feel. The staff were a standout. There were plenty of staff on hand, and everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful. It was like they embodied the character of the hotel, which was so refreshing and welcoming.
