"The bed was very comfortable. Nice to hot tub while overlooking the quaint river setting. The bathroom sink area was small but that was a minor inconvenience overall. The staff, restaurant and food was excellent.we felt pampered and recharged. Even caught a small display of the northern lights here. "

"Apparently Expedia and their system wasn't matching up, so they had no record of me arriving for that day. I was able to get ahold of property manager and get it sorted over phone call eventually. Property is in rough shape. Watch out on the driveway approach there are two potholes that will swallow a truck. "This hotel is located right on the ring road but far enough removed that you don't hear any traffic. Parking is not a problem as there is a lot of space available. The staff is friendly and the rooms are spaceous. The only thing we missed in the room is a kettle but in the lobby you can get your own coffee, tea or hot chocolate and you can take the cup back to your room which solves the missing kettle. We would definitely recommend this location as a quiet place to spend the night."
