The check in reception guy made our day. He had already locked up to go home for the night, I asked him if we could get 2 coke zeros and he gladly reopened everything and we got our cokes. He didn’t have to as he was almost out of the building. Thank you for the stay it was wonderful highly recommend the location as well.

Breakfast not available, but good choices nearby. We would have liked wash cloths and a bath mat. Curtains in room needed repair and not effective at blocking street lights and did not give privacy. Location was excellent for public transportation and sightseeing. Host was very helpful arranging taxi to airport.

Great location! Great stay!

Our stay at The Castle House Inn, Stockholm, was a great place to stay. The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Thelocation was walking distance to many tourist attractions, food, and shopping. And the history of Gamla Stan is incredible! If we make it back to Stockholm, we will definitely say there again.

The location is excellent. The beds were comfortable. The property needs to be updated - the washrooms were definitely on the old side. I am not sure of the point of the signs in the rooms indicating "No Food and No Drink allowed" - I have never seen that in another hotel.

Castle House Inn is wonderful! Great location in Gamla Stan, walkable to so many places, nice and clean rooms, and easy to access amenities. The staff went above and beyond to reach & help us coordinate the delivery of a forgotten bag to the airport in time for our flight. This is a place you can trust!! Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here to visit the Christmas markets in Gamla Stan and it was great! Very easy to get where we needed to go and lots of dining options nearby. It’s truly in the heart of the old town. The building is old, which is fine, but the upkeep was lacking. That’s not a complaint, just an observation because truly it didn’t affect our stay. It just wasn’t the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The staff was fantastic. Helpful and kind. Getting there from the train was a bit tricky with our luggage. We took a taxi out which was a bit easier. We’d stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Gamla Stan. Go to House of Smörgåsbord for dinner just up the road. It’s the best local food we had in Sweden!

Lovely old building in Gamla Stan

Perhaps one of the cleanest hotels I have been in. Beds were comfortable, linens were lovely. Beautiful building inside and out. The shared bathrooms were somewhat smelly, but perhaps that is to be expected.
