OUR || boat adventure to Stehekin and the North Cascades. The most remote place in the U.S. only accessible by boat and/or seaplane . The Lady Express passenger boat is docked for an hour layover at Stehekin after a fifty-five mile journey to the head of Lake Chelan. A North Cascades National Park bus provides transportation to the park nine miles away. No roads lead to Stehekin.
