"The breakfast service was excellent. Honestly, I booked this hotel just for the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and always listened to our concerns. The only downside was the towels, which could be cleaner. Other than that, it was worth what we paid. Plus, the location is great with efficient public transport nearby for easy access to downtown Montreal."

"My daughter, her friend and I had a great stay at Maison Montplaisir. It’s on a quiet street, around the corner from a bus line that is only a short ride to the metro. The accommodations are not fancy, but it is very quiet, has everything you need and and the beds are really comfy. The host is an absolute gem! He is so warm and inviting, it made the stay extra special. We will definitely be returning. "

"We had a lovely time at Boxotel! Got upgraded to a suite on two floors with a private rooftop terrace, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A real oasis! "Rooms (our trip used a suite of two bed), then second room with 2 beds. Extremely convenient. The small breakfast area was easy and also very convenient- all the basics (bagel, toast yogurt coffee were covered)— the furnishings were clean - everything was very comfortable and convenient. If I had a suggestion would be to improve the hot water for tea (make more easy to dispense). All told it was a great stay, reasonably priced, well located and all around excellent "
