"It is run down, very smoky (even in non-smoking rooms) and overall just an old hotel. We had a ridiculously bad experience with the check in for the party who we were traveling with and we were woken up several times at very late hours unnecessarily due to staff incompetence who gave them the key to our room and then called security. Not a great experience overall. "

"The room was clean but there is no fridge, hairdryer or tissue. The air conditioner worked good and the parking is convenient. The room did have a bit of a livestock smell when we first walked in but I sprayed some room spray and then it was fine."

"It’s a clean and newer hotel, so that’s nice. Staff kindness and amenities offered are bare minimum, they don’t go out of their way as far as “hospitality”. No housekeeping services, no pool, no fridge or microwave in room. For the price point I would go elsewhere next time."

"Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Reno. Love the fully stocked kitchen and hot tub s d heated pool. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are a great size! Washer and dryer in room is a huge bonus for sports tournaments! "

"The actual room was ok. Clean and with the amenities one would expect. But the hotel is situated in a seedy neighborhood. Outside the hotel there are enough homeless people with visible mental health problem roaming around - at some point one guy was emptying the trash right outside the hotel shouting various things. I think it gave my 14 y.o. daughter a renewed appreciation for where she lives. "

"The room was a smoking room, we slept horribly because of the odor. Housekeeping came and tried to deodorize it. "

"My husband booked this hotel because he thought it was cool that it was an older building and the rooms were only in the 2nd and 3rd floor above a bar & restaurant. The room looked cute- modern decor in an old building. I’m not a neat freak but I do inspect the room. We hadn’t touched the bed and right there under the decor pillow lay two long stands of hair that was clearly not either of ours. Yuck. In the shower, I found several pieces of hair. The sink didn’t look clean, either but I had Clorox wipes to clean that myself. There is a window looking right into the shower and the blinds wouldn’t close- broken. I was above disappointed and contacted The Jesse via email. No on site staff. They messaged me back saying their housekeeping left for the day and if we still wanted clean comforter, sheets. And that they would send someone to check the blinds. Of course, we answered would ‘Please do’. We came back at night to the same sheets and the blinds still not working- no one was sent. Would not stay here again."
