"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

"From our arrival til our departure, the service at Mount Juilet was impeccable. The Hotel itself is beautiful with spacious well decorated rooms, well thought out amenities and a lovely spa. We both enjoyed massages (some of the best we have had). Meals in The Hound were tasty and well priced. The Saddle bar has a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting Sean who offers historical talks on tbe estate on Thursday and Sunday evenings. "Great modern hotel in a very small town off of the highway. We decided to stay somewhere outside of Dublin after visiting Dublin for a couple of days on our way further south to the Ireland coast. This was a perfect place for that. This was a perfect hotel for that. It was a very large facility with a great morning breakfast and a nice onsite bar and restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place when exploring the countryside in the area."

"Excellent from start to finish. Welcomed warmly, directed before having to ask, room was luxurious and adapted for my mum without requesting so assume all rooms are adapted. Food was just perfect. I loved everything about it. The grounds are ablaze with colour and manicured beauty."

"The Hoban is a favourite stay when in Kilkenny. Rooms are clean and beds are so comfortable. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is great. The Hoban, is fairly central to everywhere. Less than 5 minutes to the city centre and its historic castle and medieval churches, never mind the shopping and dining experiences to be had. Just off the main road for Clonmel and also the M9 motorway. Perfect place to stay while not breaking the bank. Comfort, food and welcoming atmosphere. ...
