The rooms and property was very nice. I traveled with my small dog and they were very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly. I love how it was a 2min drive to the town and property has bikes.

A beautiful renovated historical house with charm, clean rooms, decorative furnishings and a wonderful hot breakfast. What we enjoyed the most was the warm hospitality of Willard, Valerie, and the other staff. Very close to downtown St. Michael’s, but just far enough away to give a nice feel of natural serenity. Great for a quick getaway from the city. We will be back.

The property was nice. The scenery was very inviting and relaxing. The queen room was nice, all the charm and character of an old home was present. Breakfast consisted of a hot prepared meal, was delicious. The inn keeper was not very welcoming and inviting. When we arrived, instantly he was very grouchy and complained about how we booked the reservation. It was very off-putting. The next morning he did not acknowledge us when we said, “good morning.” It doesn’t take much to be pleasant to your guests. It was disappointing. The other staff were very kind and pleasant. We will not be returning.

We had a pleasant two-night stay at the historic George Brooks, but we’ll likely consider other options if we visit St. Michael’s again. Although the property is conveniently close to town, we were disappointed to find no path or sidewalk protecting pedestrians from the busy highway, so driving into town felt like the best choice. The B&B features a lovely pool and grounds, but the overall condition of the property doesn't feel quite crisp. Additionally, our room and bathroom were small and in need of some updates.

Fantastic

We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The Inn is spotless and wonderfully decorated. The grounds are beautiful gardens and relaxing pool and hot tub. They even have electric vehicle charging stations. The food was absolutely delicious and the proprietors friendly while allowing for privacy
