"Staff was really nice"

"When we checked in on Saturday afternoon we found trash on the floor of our room. We notified the front desk clerk about our room and was told that housekeeping would be informed and the room would be cleaned Sunday. When we arrived back to our room late Sunday afternoon we noticed our room was not cleaned. We informed the desk clerk again upon check out."

"My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Topeka, from the moment we arrived. We were impressed with the staff and how they made thing so welcoming, they were professional and extremely helpful. I loved that this hotel was close to restaurants, shopping and local attractions."

"Property appears to be in an exterior remodel project. Room was clean, but toilet didn’t flush right and ended up not flushing at all. Even the toilet in lobby area didn’t flush all the way, indicating it may be a property wide issue. It was an ok experience, but definitely not my favorite property and may not be one I would probably choose to go to again. It was pretty clean and staff was great which is why it had more stars than I typically would have given"

"We stayed here one night first room was completely disgusting there was trash and pee in the bathroom and dirty used bedding and towels they told us there was no housekeeper to clean rooms we were on the 1st floor we were offered another room on the 2nd floor it was similar but a bit cleaner. When checking out we asked for our deposit back and the lady acted like we never gave them one. Definitely NOT STAYING HERE AGAIN !! "

"Our room did not look like it had been cleaned well. There were stains on the floor, bathroom cabinets and tub. The sink in the kitchen area did not drain well and the disposal wasn’t working, this led to an odor. We planned to use the dishwasher but there was a plastic spoon and garbage bits in there as well as gross water in the bottom of the dishwasher. The faucet in the shower was coming off from the wall. "Check in lady was rude when we notified them the facet in tub was running and unable to turn off. Had to beg for towels on several occasions. Staff even told us that giving us towels was not their job. Staff constantly on video calls when approached desk and were motioned to wait a minute. Only thing good about was it was clean, although sheets were stained, and location for us."

"There were bugs in the bed. Front desk did say they were not bed bugs?? The indoor pool was disgusting and didn’t look open thank goodness . Ice machine did not work. Do not recommend staying at this hotel!!"

"The room was nice. They had fridge and microwave. There was shampoo and conditioner if needed. Has newer carpet and updates. Could use some updated sheets though. Does have a pool outside and breakfast is included. "
