"The Melbourne Inn was in some backstreet away from the beach. However it was just a short walk away. Greeted very well on arrival. The attached Bistro had friendly staff and were very chatty. Very good standard of food. The only criticism would be the Bar closed at 6:30pm when the Bistro did. Not very good for people on vacation!! "

"This is a very special property and hotel. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return again someday. Just be aware that the surf and winds on the Atlantic side of the island are more pronounced so if you want tranquil water you would want to stay on the west side of the island. But this is a wonderful place and we are used to waves and found the trade winds very refreshing. "

"The room was clean. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I was travelling with my baby so the kitchenette was very useful and I forgot to request a crib before hand but the staff sourced 1 for me at the last minute. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Barbados"
