Hotel murah di St. Johns

"We had two King rooms and they were so small but at least they were clean. In the shower, the water is way too soft and smells like sewer. Hotel hallways and the common bathrooms downstairs were not clean. Breakfast was what is to be expected. Elevators are extremely slow for such a small hotel. No microwave or coffee makers in the rooms. No complimentary water bottles upon check-in but there is a filtered water bottle filling station downstairs near the lobby. "Literally the cutest little place!!! The back area has a little seating area with rocking chairs and a hammock and some nice cabanas for relaxing. The front check in area was very clean and it did not have that weird overly perfumed smell that a lot of independent hotels have. The room we stayed in was very nice and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The beach was directly across the street but it was late when we got in so i can't really review it. "The staff were all great, but the property layout doesn’t handle the traffic flow for afternoon check-in well. Cars coming into the drive block the valet entrance and exit to the parking garage and backed up into traffic. You have to go to the second floor to check in and there are only two elevators serving in the valet lobby for the whole hotel. "Met with a parking fee which is just a money grab scam as there is plenty of parking. Typical half the motel is empty but let’s put you in the back building upstairs between 2 other occupied rooms. So you have to carry your stuff up the stairs for zero reason. Breakfast was there but not much. Room was pleasantly nice though and ac was great for a change in a motel room."

"The view from our room was the absolute best part of our stay at the Edgewater Inn. The Inn is quaint and could definitely use some updating (chipped deck, cracks in the ceiling, etc), but overall is a pleasant stay. The room we stayed in could have used a good mopping and a wipe down in some areas, but the bed was comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The views are amazing (day and night) and it’s in such a close proximity to all that Saint Augustine has to offer."

"Our room did smell when we first checked in. I used room spray to help combat the smell. The front office thought it might have been the water the cleaner used to mop with. By the 2nd day the smell was better. The room is nice but I don’t like being on the 2nd floor and going up and down the stairs but apparently that is all they have available. The social hour in the evening is just okay, nothing exciting. And the breakfast is just okay too, nothing exciting. They do close the pool around 7pm...
