Rundown place

Nice place at galle road. Check inn was very difficult we have to go down to car park in basement to find entrance. Have to wait for someone to come down and open door to come inn. Rundown furniture, door to balcony could not closed properly. No teatowels. Check out was difficult to because taxa could not found the entrance in the basement and I went up and found him which toke 15 minutes. I would not recommend anybody please giv 25$ more and stay cinemon grand or galle face

Excellent location

We have stayed in :Colombo on many occasions, but always in hotels. For a change we decided to book an apartment in the same area. The Colombo Residency or Crescat residency as its know is in a prime area of Colombo along the Galle Road. Situated next to the Cinnamon Grande Hotel it is within minutes of the Crescat Mall with its shopping and Food Hall situated on the Lower level. Here you can eat cheaply a variety of different foods Sri, Lankan, vegetarian(Indian) Mongolian, Thai and even pizza. You are minutes away from Galle Face Hotel and Green, The Ministry of Crab is a 5minute tuk tuk ride away. Fort railway station and Pettah market. the opposite direction is Liberty Plaza, Majestic City , Odell, Paradise Road , House of Fashion. There is a pool and Gym next door which you have access too. We were in a one bedroom apartment, the Décor was a bit 'tired' and was in need of updating but was spacious with a lounge and kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. 24hr security. In terms of location, it can't be .beaten, we would definitely stay here again, perhaps in a 2 bedroom apartment. 3 wheeler tuk tuk rides, make sure they have a meter and its on. Otherwise they can quote any price

The property staff was so bad during check-in on first day 22Jul. We booked 3 Bedroom Accommodation for 3 days but his service to us as if we just hire dorm. He shouldn't work in hospitality business. Definitely No Service Mind At All! But the staff on following day (23Jul) so kind and nice. He moved us from 2nd to 20th floor. The way he do so different from yesterday staff. He's so polite.

総じて普通だったが、ケーブルテレビの番組が限定されており、普通はHBOとか FOXとかSONYとかの映画ものも見れたが 外されており、暇な時間の夜はつまらなかった。 部屋の電気が暗すぎる

Strategically located apartment

The location of the apartment is great with easy access to many restaurants in the Cinnamon Grand. We have also appreciated the cleanliness of bedrooms and access to the swimming pool and gym facilities. The living room and kitchen require thorough cleaning, especially the couch.

Minimal information given about entry to Apartment. Nil signage. Parking in the basement of Angana Spa. No place to park and check-in. Car park swipe card not given which was difficult to get in and out of carpark entrance. There was a leak in the bathroom which was flooded overnight. Nil tea and coffee facilities available. Poor communication by staff. the Lift was dangerous. Closes half way through walking in.

Ikke fornøyd

Ikke bra. Jeg bor ofte på leilighetshoteller, savner ikke en resepsjon og jeg pleier å være flink til å finne ut hvor nøkler utleveres. Leiligheten vi fikk i 20 etasje, var sliten, stygt bord, stygge stoler ok sofa. Ingen bilder eller annet på veggene. Heslige tilårskomne gardiner. Heftig lekasje fra taket (ac anlegg) stue og kjøkken fløt av vann pga. dette. (akkurat da hadde det vært greit med en resepsjon som kunne sendt opp en vaktmester....) Prisen endte på drøyt 1300,- som er litt over gode hoteller i nærheten.
