"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. "The hotel was great especially for families with young children. The creche & kids club facilities are really a highlight the best I’ve seen! The staff were all so friendly & helpful. The water park is also a highlight and great for young children with very shallow pools. Food variety & quality was really good & good cocktails at the various bars. Our family room was a good set up for a family of 3 giving our toddler his own room. Overall would definitely recommend to families with young children!"
