It was easy to see all the attention to detail upon arrival as Matteo welcomed us and showed us around what would be our temporary home for a few days. The breakfast each morning was above and beyond! The rooms were cleaned each day and the staff were amazing! I would stay here again. I highly recommend!"

My room was spacious and very comfortable and clean - just not a single drawer to store underwear, shirts etc. Since the check-in happens with the punching of a code and there is no reception, I had to carry my large suitcase up some very steep and narrow stairs to the second floor. It had a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, bedroom, bathroom etc., not to mention an amazing sauna and jacuzzi. Very luxurious. "The construction of the thousand year old building was amazingly beautiful! The park like grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bed was firm, like most beds in Italy. I have to say though the pillows were the worse pillows I’ve ever had to sleep on. They were fat hard rubber pillows. 😩 "
