"Good"

"1st off. Property wants to charge 6.99 for each night to hold our cash depoait (5 nights). Claiming our cash deposit was in case we smoked or damaged room... yet there were cigarette butts and ashes in the elevator and hall. Carpets were VERY stained on the 4th floor. Room had burnson the floor and marks on on the walls.. i use a mobility scooter and there is only 1 ramp in to the Hotel. All exits have CURBS that wheelchairs can NOT get over/off. Emergency exit was blocked by a wall that fell over, and the doors to the parking lot were locked at 8 and you have to walk full length of hotel to get in and then we were the last room in the hall on the top floor, so more walking for a limited mobility person. Breakfast. . Was always cold at 645 am (starts at 630) and was always eggs, ceral biscuits, gravy. The fruit was always oranges. There was a shortage of one or more of the items EACH morning. When we pointed it out to the front desk person each day the excuse was the attendant was lake to work that day and would corrected when they arrived ( we had to leave to make our event on time). Pool . Had gross things floating in it and the hot tub was out of order. To say that we were disappointed is the very least i could say wothout using adult explicities. We will be in the area again in 2027, but we will NOT be choosing this place. "

"Upon arrival and walking into the indoor arboretum, you are pleasantly surprised by unexpected grandeur. To me it felt like stepping out on Bourbon Street in "Nawlins'". This same unexpected grandeur was also found in the rooms, being so spacious, the subtle distinction between office, kitchenette, bedroom and bath. A pleasant amenity is the large fridge with freezer. Double doors lead to a nice walk in closet/sink area and separate bath and toilet. The female staff, including housekeeping, were always cheerful, polite and helpful. The overall atmosphere was quiet and comforting. The only con (and minor) was that there was never any butter. I love the belgian waffle makers, but I'm a butter guy and I need it for my waffles and toast. They did have cream cheese and some vegetable oil spread, but that's not butter. Location is also convenient, 5 miles straight up the road to the airport, close to several restaurants and Walmart, easy on / off interstate right down the road, close to the city center, etc. Oh, and the cost was super affordable, another big plus! In conclusion, I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to anyone that's needs lodging. "
