"Check-in took a few minutes as the computer system gave the attendant some problems. They remained friendly throughout and apologized for any inconvenience. This is in a Motel 6 where they're remodeling a portion of it into small studio apartment type rooms that contain a small kitchenette. I stayed in a such a room and it had been recently remodeled. "So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. "This was my second time staying at the Westin at DTW. Service was exceptional. Every employee I ran into was polite and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable here. I can't say enough about the front desk guy (wish I caught his name to give him a shout out) who helped me check in very early AM after a mishap on my end with booking online. The bed was super cozy and the room was immaculate. Would 100% stay again. "
