"Very rude and unprofessional staff. The AC wasn’t functioning well and most of the time the room was very hot. Room service is very late and not to the standard of the price paid. Misunderstood the booking days and made me pay for an extra night while at checkin I gave them the dates I was supply to stay, when I told them they need to fix it they argued about the new price and when asked for the authorities they wouldn’t call the police and physically blocked me from leaving the premises to call the police. They held my suitcases and passport in my room and did not inform me that I was supposed to checkout on the 19th until I returned from my day out. Overall customer service is very poor and unprofessional, there is no customer satisfaction not the price paid is worth the amenities. Paid similar price at the ritz and had the best ever experience and service. This shows how the hospitality in French managed hotels in Morocco and the customer service in general still lacking and the bureau of tourism should be aware of these issues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone else in the future."

"Upon arriving at the airport at 10:44pm we were hoping to be greeted by our driver, who we booked 3 months prior to arrival, that was not the case. We had to wait an hour for him to arrive to pick us up. No apology just went on like nothing had happened. We arrive at entrance where they drop you off with your luggage and someone comes to meet you to bring you down the alley to your hotel. Check in was fine and smooth BUT once we got into the room is where we were both put off (not even the first two scenarios were as bad). There were moths and gnats as the window was left open and stains on the sheets. At this point it was late and we were both exhausted, but not tired enough to hop on the internet and book another hotel for the next night. We got minimal sleep and had a tour booked for early the next morning. After the tour we came back to the room, collected our luggage, and went down to check out a day early. They basically just took our keys, gave us a thumbs up, and told us to have a nice day (kick rocks) after telling them about the room situation. Once again no apologies, "how can we make this right?", nothing."

"Good place to stay if you just need a bed for a night. The AC didn’t work, so be aware of that if staying in the warmer season. Shared bathrooms, and stained bedding, but for the price, it was an ok place to stay just for a night. Also, breakfast isn’t included, although it says it is. It’s cheap, but you still have to pay. "My wife and I stayed at the Riad Palais des Princesses for a 3 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are seeking a modern, clinical type of hotel, this isn't for you - it is however for those wanting to step back in time, soak up the atmosphere and ambiance and to do so in beautiful surroundings. From the moment we arrived the staff were superb as we took our seats for our welcoming Moroccon mint tea and they catered for all our needs throughout our stay. The Riad is perfectly located as a starting point to explore the city, close to the main square and souks. Our suite was beautifully arranged with a unique and quirky entrance room leading to the main bedroom suite and bathroom. The roof top terrace also came to good use as a spot to sit out and relax and enjoy the setting sun. Very much enjoyed our stay."
