You can tell how much thought and care the staff puts into making this an amazing place to stay, from the small touches in the rooms to the fun activities around the grounds. Front Desk Staff are very friendly and professional. Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation in wine country or a staycation if you’re local.

We (my 3y/o Pekinese, Rames and I) spent Christmas day and that night at the Sonoma Mission Inn. I really loved the welcoming atmosphere that included dogs! I loved the "love energy" in the space. We dined at the bar and the service and food were excellent. We spent time in the common areas talking with others briefly sharing personal histories. The service was excellent from the moment I pulled into "valet" service, to housekeeping - the room was well appointed and immaculately clean. It was a perfect day. I plan to make this a Christmas tradition. Thank you, Sonoma Mission Inn staff, for creating a welcoming and loving space for everyone...especially the dogs!

A girlfriend and I stayed at the Fairmont Sonoma for 4 days and it was an incredible stay! We utilized nearly all aspects of their considerable property- the pool, the spa, the lobby bar, the firepits, the outdoor games, the restaurant. It was all WONDERFUL. Beautiful landscaping and friendly/helpful staff. It was peaceful, quiet and lovely

The housekeeping staff was outstanding. The check in and concierge staff were great. The bar staff was service was so terrible, we ended up leaving. Sat there for 10 mins, bartenders were behind the bar but didn’t acknowledge us.

Enjoyed my mother-daughter trip. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the amenities. Because it was a weekend, the main pool had many children. Our other option was to pay for a day pass, which seemed expensive given that we were staying at the resort. Other than that, it was great. The staff at Santa was exceptional!

Love this place. Very happy we chose to stay here. The pool was divine. I had a massage at the spa & the whole spa experience is very nice. Highly recommend planning to spend some extra time at the spa…lots of good stuff to enjoy before & after your treatments. Our room was perfect. Spacious & luxurious. We felt very spoiled. Can’t wait to go back!

My stay was overall lovely. The restaurant on site was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Love that they offer complimentary transportation into town. The gym was a little bit dirty and unkept (spider webs on the equipment). I tried to make a spa appointment but the last few time slots got quickly taken as we were trying to set it up. But overall wonderful property and nice rooms!

The stuff is really good and hospitality is excellent. But the hotel is way overpriced, for a 5 stars hotel I was expecting a better rooms and amenities. The curtains are from the last century, the crib was rusty and you have to pay extra for everything. The parking fee is dropped from the sky as they have a big parking inside the hotel.. I am not expected to come horseback riding after all. You have to pay for the indoor pool and hot tub $69 per day which should have been free for residents and it’s below average and small anyway. The instagram videos are very misleading. There were no slippers nor toothpaste in the room.. that’s a minimum to have in a 5 stars hotel. Overall, the hotel is a 3 stars downtown hotel with the price of a 5 stars resort. I wouldn’t come again. But again, the staff was wonderful. The food is meh.
