Smythesdale H16 Bushland Reserve

The communications great they advised some night works were happening during our stay. They offered to stay in a quieter location and when they were informed it was my birthday they had a bottle of wine and chocolates to greet us in the room. This hotel is in a great location. Easy walk from Southern Cross station. Trams very close by and we were lucky to have free public transport during our stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation to all.

The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of the city, which we really enjoyed. The spa was also a highlight and a lovely place to relax. However, there were a few downsides. The combo washer/dryer located in the bathroom cupboard didn’t dry our clothes effectively, which was inconvenient. The pool was not heated, limiting its usability. Additionally, our experience with one of the reception staff was disappointing. They came across as quite rude and unapproachable, which made both check-in and check-out uncomfortable, and made it difficult to ask questions when needed.

Hotel Indigo is affordable, centrally located and the rooms have everything you need for a short or long term stay. The aesthetic is funky but practical and the blackout blinds made my sleep 10 times better. I've stayed here more than once and I'll definitely stay in the future as well.
