"Great stay for a trip with my friends and I. The only hotel with rooms that had 3 beds which is what accommodated our needs. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Check out the Oconaluftee Islands Park across the street if you get a chance. The bamboo forest is so pretty. I’d definitely stay here again."

"Everything was clean and nice. Very convenient location."

"We did have a soiled towel in the room when we arrived. The walls are very thin because we could hear conversations in. Early rooms and heavy walking above us. The ladies serving and helping with breakfast were extremely friendly and hospitable. Made the other not so lovely things better."

"Ice machine not working on any floor except the 1st floor."

"Staff was very rude told me no more rooms were available. I then went to the parking lot and booked with no problem. Then she wanted to act nice and apologize."

"Older basic hotel in a great location overlooking the river, really enjoyed sitting on the balcony"

The office did not open until 10:00 so no shower that morning! The staff was extremely rude. We had rented for 1 night. We checked in around 8:00 that afternoon. We told them that we might want to add another night. WE was told we better go ahead or it would be booked. We did. Then during the night we got a call of a death that we...

"Got checked in early. Beautiful view. Check in was wonderful."

"Cool little escape off a private road - unexpected for the humble surroundings - great details like a steam shower. Pristine property"

"Wow! This is an older motel built in the heart of downtown Sylva. It was remodeled in 2024 and they did an excellent job. Once inside the room, you can't tell that you aren't in a much newer hotel. The outside is very well kept. The only thing that makes it feel older is the design of the building. Parking was plenty even on WCU homecoming weekend. Mackenzie, the young lady at the desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. Everything in the room was in excellent working order and the beds were...
