The two ladies who checked us in on Friday night & were on duty most of the time we were there (2 nights) were very pleasant & very helpful! They are an asset to the location. More posted information about breakfast times, exit directions in case of an emergency, checkout times, etc. are needed but I do understand they were in renovation mode. The heater in the room kept it very comfortable all the time. Enjoyed the stay.

Not really worth the price. Bathroom falling apart, gross floor. We didnt shower even because it was gross. But bed was comfortable and smelled clean. Wont stay again but it was ok for a night.

When I arrived I had to re-fill out the registration forms that I had done online. When I got to the room it was nice clean. It wasn’t till I got out of the shower that I noticed no hair dryer an no glass in the room.

On check in we asked the person for recommendations and he flat out ignored us. We walked into town and got something to eat. Woke up the next morning with bites all over my left arm. They apparently were bed bug bites (I have friends who have had them). Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Super 8 hotel Souix City Iowa.

This was an overnight trip for us, so we weren't looking to spend a lot on a room. For $100.80 our room was clean and comfortable. Nicely furnished with the usual TV, microwave, small refrigerator, and even a safe. This location is an older building. The bathtub/shower showed signs of much wear but it was clean with great hot water. I found it interesting the telephone wasn't connected to anything...no cord.. but we didn't need it. The woman at the desk spoke english as her first language which is not always the case, and she was very personable. Over all it was a good night's stay.

Easy get some food or drinks from gas station next door, after arriving at 7:30p.m. - coffee station near lobby was completely cold- when we tell lady at the courtesy desk - she responded “ I am sorry, it’s there from yearly morning. And it’s too late to do new batch” . There is no coffee machine in the rooms. We found it’s funny - on keys holder envelope - password for Wi-Fi - WELCOME 😂

We checked in at midnight and the desk attendant was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but there were no drinking cups in the room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink did not drain. We went to get breakfast at 8:45 am in the lobby but the entrance door was locked so we rang the doorbell twice but nobody came. I looked in the window and the morning desk attendant was sitting at the desk sleeping with her head down on her arms on the desk. After knocking loudly she woke up and let us in, but didnt say a word. No apology or anything. The waffle machine wasn't set up or anything. No milk for the cereal. Dry bread for toast.

The bed was very comfortable and the tv was clear, except for the scratch on the screen. We walked onto a cracked and broken vinyl flooring, which we kept tripping over. Hazard! Air conditioner turned on with power button, but never blew any cold air or any air at all. No plastic cups to get water and no ice bucket. Refrigerator was on full blast, but was barely cool. Curtains were filthy. The toilet kept running very loudly all night.

While the decor was nice and room clean, it mostly terrible. Phone didnt work in the room. Desk staff either wasnt trained properly or didnt care enough to do a good job at making sure the breakfast area was clean or stocked. The pillows in the room were about 12x12 so not actual bed pillows. The tub didnt drain well so while taking a shower the water stayed above ankle deep. And the AC didnt work well. Outdated or poorly maintained machine. Having worked for the Super 8 chain and stayed in their hotels before, i expected way better for the amount of money i had to pay for this room. To sum up it was like this property gave minimum effort. Eill not stay again or recommend
