Great reception from host, lady at the first Cube directed us to the 2nd one further along the road.
Great room, ideal for a night. Very clean. A few more tweaks then would have given 5 star
A nice and cozy hotel that offers great value for both its price and location. It’s well worth considering for a stay.

A great location.. super easy walk to Maxwell Hawker Centre and the MRT stations.
The room itself was very tight and cosy. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was quite smelly (maybe an exhaust fan is needed) and some mould growing.
We thought we had a fridge in our room only to find we didn’t upon checking in.
No fault of the property but we had very noisy neighbours on our stay, keeping us awake u til after midnight on 2 out of 3 nights with banging doors and very very loud conversions.
In saying all that.. the bed was clean and the very convenient location made our stay worthwhile for the price.
Could not fault the staff, everyone we encounter was very lovely and more than willing to answer any questions we had .
Nice small hotel with smart TV. The street can be slightly noisey due to being in the centre of Chinatown. However it was a good stay in front of the hawker centre and had great restaurants in the surrounding area.
The walls are thin!
Great stay. The kids wanted to stay in a cube hotel but we didn’t want to share with random travelers so this was great for our family of 5. Very friendly staff! Would stay here again!
Very small room with barely enough space to stand but nice and clean with courteous staff.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. However, the long stairs going up isn’t very user friendly especially with kids and big luggage’s. Not very clean but acceptable.
We stayed at Cube twice during our trip and found the rooms to be quite clean and tidy and suitable for a family of five. They are quite compact which is pretty much what you’d expect but have plenty of little compartments, charging points and room amenities. Good for a stay of a night or two. Be aware that there are a couple of flights of stairs if you have little kids or lots of suitcases.
Only negative was the awkward, painful check in process - should be easy with the app, but it doesn’t work very well and the desk person does nothing to help except hand you your room cards when you finally get through it.
The cube hotel was a fun experience for an overnight stay. Any longer would have not been enjoyable. Family room was big enough for the four of us. But with no room to move around easily. Clean, comfortable beds, good charging points, fridge and free snacks. No tea! Good location.
Decent Location. The hotel being digital made it difficult to sign in and enter the room. The room wasn't very clean and the water didn't work for a bit.

Great location in Chinatown. Watch out for room 203. Cant sleep there due to an fan coil that was broken and did horrible sound throughout the night.

Budget hotel, situated in the middle of Chinatown, which is very positive. Staff and service were Okay. The room itself needed some maintenance (lock to the bathroom and toilet). The matresses of the beds were very hard.
Don't book it if you are claustrofobic.
Positive, besides the location, was the good WiFi, the free access to drinking water and the complementary drinks in the fridge.

Wow... tight space! But great location!
A family of four, with two teenage boys, just barely fit in a family room. Two full beds, and two twins. It was tight, but OK once everyone got in their bed. But, it had an in-suite bathroom, which was fine. We wanted to experience a cube hotel, but have a private bath, and this place fit the bill. A great location in Chinatown, and there was plenty to see and do right out the door. We saw a family of six while we were there too, and they were all on speaking terms, so they must have liked it to, especially if they had the same size room as us! The check in/out procedure was fine and the staff was helpful. If it fits your budget, it's pretty good!

Walkable and convenient for local transportation. The bad? awful lightning in the room and no power outlets to connect phones or other gadgets overnight. Not even one close to the bed. I had to unplug the TV to use it to charge our phones overnight. But... It's cheap, almost no space in the rooms but if you'll be out most of the time it's manageable.
While I knew it was going to be tight, there were a lot of things that were broken. The fold down table for laptops was broken. One of the individual lights in the upper bunk was broken. The location however was fantastic
The positive is the location, close to transport and plenty of hawker food around. The room is small and old. Too noisy, no soundproofing at all, can hear next room and outside traffic. No escalator or lift. So plenty of stairs to carry luggages, even to reach to the reception.

Overall the property was fine. We had asked staff to change the sheets, and while they did agree to do so, they weren’t done. The rooms are certainly small (as was fairly described), but sometimes uncomfortably so. For example, the shower curtain is constantly sticking to your body while you shower. Our towel hanger also broke. There’s only one set of laundry machines which we had a slight problem with, and it costs $11 SGD for washing ($5), drying ($5) and detergent ($1). For the price and location, my friends and I were satisfied with the experience. There were just a few things that could’ve been better.
