"The Emaho Villa was perfect for a couples stay! Bedroom and bathroom separate from living and kitchen area. Both available with AC or open windows with screens. The walls are glass doors for the perfect view no matter where you are! All have curtains for privacy when needed. Plenty or seating outside- chairs, loungers, and daybed (by the pool). Outdoor mosquito suppressant provided and easy to light daily. Sunscreen, insect spray, toiletries all made available.
Service provided by all workers is absolutely world class! They took our food and drink orders and accommodated for our pleasing. Daily activities and scheduling was taken care of by staff down to the details of providing towels and bottled water. Retreat staff accompanies guest to all activities to ensure safety and provide local knowledge of culture. Stunning views, perfectly manicured property, and daily activity choices are enough to make this retreat unforgettable, but the staff makes the stay at Emaho Sekawa truly one of a kind."
"Had a great stay overall in a floating bure really enjoyed my stay. The marine life especially at night is impressive. Stayed in FB1 which faces out the inlet. Experiencing the tide changes and just sitting on the deck was great.
The adults only pool and ocean access at low tide was good if you just want to walk out in the water.
My traditional massage with Gill (Jill) is my new number one massage ever. I had the traditional Fijian one.
The hospitality staff were lovely and accommodating the highlight was the lovo night with the visiting villagers putting on that traditional experience I'm sure most people imagine in their heads. The farewell song was lovely to wrap up a great trip to Savusavu.
To Wayne and all the staff thank you."
"Property is very peaceful and quiet. Can walk the the whole beach and never see anyone else. Beach is beautiful but not great for swimming during low tide. Good snorkeling out at the reef but probably about a 500m walk during low tide and pretty rough water while we were there; water shoes are a must! We stayed in one of their newer bungalows which was very clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not much to do in the area but relax, however town is only about a 10-15min taxi ride away. Food was decent and affordable but would highly recommend checking out the Island Grill in Savusavu for a meal. Overall a nice place to chill and relax or a good home base for exploring other parts of the island."
"Overall an amazing place to stay. Lunch and meal service are not restaurant style and you have to place order for what you want for lunch and dinner during breakfast meal. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely fine dining meals for lunch and dinner. The pools are not heated so pretty cold. The staff a lovely. Everyone is super friendly and so accommodating. Booking through hotels.com doesn't necessarily get you a cliff side villa overlooking the ocean and you may instead get one by the lagoon. I would definitely book again."
