The location of this hotel is excellent and very central to everything in Silverthorne. The area itself felt safe and beautiful, and that was the best part of our stay.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness and service during our stay from January 2 to January 4 were very disappointing. Our room did not receive housekeeping service at all unless we personally tracked someone down. Even after notifying the front desk and management, no one came to inspect or properly service the room.
Trash was never taken out, beds were not made, and basic supplies like toilet paper and paper towels were not restocked. At one point, I had to find my own toilet paper by taking it from a housekeeping cart in the hallway. This should never be necessary at any hotel.
We also experienced repeated issues with the key cards not working, which required multiple trips back to the front desk. While some staff members were polite and tried to be helpful, the overall lack of follow-through made the stay frustrating.
I gave management an opportunity to contact me and address these issues after our stay, but I was never contacted. This property has a lot of potential due to its location, but until cleanliness and basic guest services are addressed, I cannot recommend it.
