"Plantation is a beautiful resort. The rooms are quite simple, but clean and modern. The resort itself is well-maintained, clean, and the breakfast buffet was a standout. We particularly liked the variety of food at the breakfast buffet, they had lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options as well as meat and vegetarian options. We ordered room service daily and it was so quick and delicious after a long day of sight-seeing. The staff are polite and helpful, and helped us organize transportation and other things around the city. We went for massages at the spa which were incredible. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phnom Penh!"

"Chaiya Palace made me feel like a king ! From the moment I arrived to when I departed, every staff had been amazing. I booked the Chaiya Suite and it's the best bang for your buck. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, a/c was good to help you beat the Cambodian heat, the balcony was small but enough space for me to enjoy. Do not skip on the buffet breakfast. Then hotel is also just accross from Wat Botum Park and a 15 minute walk to the Royal Palace. While staying, make sure to check out the rooftop to get a 360 degree view of Phnom Penh. The restaurant also had great food, ordered pasta on my first night and it was delicious. Chaiya Palace is a great choice."

"The hotel is lovely and the room spacious and comfortable. The view from my room balcony was exceptional. I was offered free ear plugs due to the religious festival in the churches very close by, which was very thoughtful. I made use of the gym, which is limited, but didn't swim in the hotel pool, preferring to use the outside pool at the sister hotel 5 minutes down the road. I didnt eat at the hotel. The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner, but discounted meals were available, again at the sister hotel, Palace Gate Hotel and Resort. The only staff I saw, were at reception. They were very polite, spoke great English and helped me with problems I had with the cleaning staff immediately (leaving dirty cleaning cloths in my room on the furniture, not replacing dirty cups, nor bath mat and towels, before complaining, and not putting enough fresh water in my room each day). As it was a festival, they were short staffed, but my room was perfect after my complaint, even to the extent of pointing the toilet paper. I would happily stay there again should I need to, as I have family in Cambodia"

"Great value, room was clean, hotel is very well maintained and appears to have been renovated recently. Newer room fixtures and they were upgrading the wifi system whileI was there (good wifi). Hotel is tucked away in a short alley between buildings, which shields it from from any noise from the small road nearby. I have stayed there twice and would definitely stay again."
