"Nice clean room"

"This is my preferred hotel in Topeka. The rooms and hotel property are consistently clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant options are pretty good."

"The room was ok except the carpet was disgustingly dirty. My feet stuck to it in places. Breakfast was ok. The hotel was very quiet."

"Checking in was fast and smooth. We had two king bedroom suite which was very roomy and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very very good. Much better than most hotels. They had the usual things but then had tacos which were really good. Would absolutely recommend Homewood Suites."

"The staff is wonderful!! I’ve stayed here before and always thought the cleanliness was good. This time it didn’t seem as good and the room had an off smell. Also, there were a lot of people hanging around outside and I just didn’t feel as comfortable coming and going."

"Big complaint- we had 2 adults and 2 children in our room. The room was great but the bathroom had no where to hang towels. Only one hook in the bathroom. They need to fix this"

"Ok Where to begin. The room was great,the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. However: the place in general was gross. The smell of water damage was present and there was only 1 elevator for the entire North tower. One guy said they are there every year and it has been like that for 3 years now. The elevator was smelly and kinda scary. I believe it used to be the service elevator. There was mold on the walls in the laundry room,there were panels of sheetrock missing and the new Sheetrock...

"It was like staying in a barn with a bed in it"

"Room was extremely noisy. I could hear the people above us walking all night so couldn’t sleep. Also, the AC unit had annoying rattling so that was also noisy."

"The sofa bed in our room was broken. The whole frame was bent at the bottom so my kids kept sliding off overnight. breakfast was cold, all of it. We got there right when they opened it. We got a good nights sleep for cheap and that’s why we booked the hotel so none of that was a huge issue. The air conditioning worked, the pool is heated, the staff is friendly. The place needs a little makeover but we got what we paid for minus the bed the kids couldn’t sleep in."

"AC was effective and quiet. Pillows were not very comfortable. Would have liked a couple firm and a couple soft. I liked having the choice of eggs and sausage at breakfast. OJ was good."
