Amazing hotel rooms and common areas, a true museum ! Breakfast was excellent, service was excellent. I have not visited the spa so I cannot speak towards it. There are 2 things that really bothered me. I booked and paid 2 nights in the suite which had a king bed and a sofa bed . At booking time I marked 2 adults and a child 6 years old. When I checked in I asked to prepare the sofa bed and the manager promptly asked for extra 12 Euro ! I said that is why I booked the suite and she said that she has sent an email “ Hello, Do you need extra bed for child?” The email was sent in the afternoon and I was driving for about 3 hours . I checked the email only when she told me about it . Anyway, I have never been asked about extra pay for the bedding, neither have I seen the requirement while booking . Nevertheless it was very annoying and spoiled my vacation mood . The second aspect that warrants improvement for such a visually appealing hotel is the procurement of higher-quality mattresses. Additionally, it would be beneficial to consider replacing the two adjacent mattresses with a single king-sized mattress.

Good for a relaxing getaway

Horrible experience

Horrible experience! We had 2 rooms booked, 301 and 308. I was accommodated together with my 8 y old son in room 301, Josephine. As soon as we entered the room, we were greeted by a very uncomfortable chill and a terrible noise —clearly, the ventilation system was not functioning properly. Despite my attempts to adjust the thermostat and contact the front desk for assistance, the ventilation issues remained unresolved throughout my stay. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was incredibly rude and disappointing. When I approached them to address my concerns about the cold room, I was met with disrespect and a lack of support. It felt like my complaints were being brushed off, and I was left to fend for myself and my child in a very cold and uncomfortable environment. Bathroom ventilation, that was working like a drilling machine, could stop only when disconnecting the entire room from electricity. When electricity was back, it was starting again. When I indicated I cannot sleep in that temperature and noise, reception staff indicated I should exchange room with my parents, who were accommodated in the other room we booked, if I want to not sleep in cold. Alternatively that I should leave the hotel. It was 23.45 h and I was with a young child, in a room I paid for in advance. I was astonished. Overall, my stay was marred by poor room conditions and unhelpful staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and supportive hotel experience.
