"This is a wonderful hotel with great service in the heart of old town but off the main street, thus avoiding the street noise. The owner, Alberto, is a wonderful man who had lived in the USA and returned to this family property to turn it into a hotel. The rooms are historic just as the building but very comfortable. The location is quite walkable to many of the historic sites, museums, and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. "

"Nice old house with lots of character. In room 104 the bathroom door is short, and as a tall person, I hit my head a few times. The staff is very helpful. The night guy and cleaning lady don't speak English so it's a good opportunity to practice your Spanish. When I stayed there, I didn't see many other guests, so I did not experience meeting other international travelers and enjoying the camaraderie in a common area that some hostels have.
