"Traditional Maltese breakfast included was excellent Evening snacks and drinks (various teas most nights and beer on Saturdays/Wednesdays) All the staff were very friendly and helpful If we return to Malta, this is where we will stay"

We also had a very unexpected surprise when we came back to find balloons, birthday card and 2 glasses of prosecco in our room to celebrate my birthday all organised by the hotel, a very lovely and unexpected touch. "Our stay was perfect. The hotel is beautiful. It’s situated a short ferry ride from Valletta making it peaceful away from the noise of the city centre. There are some fab restaurants in the area. Tony and his team go above and beyond making your stay truly memorable. Their mantra is that you leave as friends which is exactly how we felt. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is incredible value and the view from the pent house is to die for! A very special place "

"Right in the action on Republic. Old school classy hotel that was nevertheless very comfortable thanks to the friendly staff especially Maria. Amazing bed & luxurious towels. Loved the third floor terrace & the tiny gym with a well. Just be aware the hotel is right next to the opera which can be noisy until about 11 pm if there’s a performance and a few nights of rehearsal leading up to it. May help if the windows were double or triple paned."
