"I stayed at this hotel for four nights in March 2026. The hotel is very cool, as I'm sure you have read that it's a former prison. The location is not the most central, but it's very easy to walk to downtown, and we found it to be perfectly fine. The tram runs right by the front door, so you can easily use public transportation to the other side of the city if needed. The complimentary breakfast and dinner are absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that has complimentary dinner every night. I didn't use the gym, so can't comment on that. Overall an incredible value. I would be very likely to stay here again the next time I come to Helsinki. "

"The lady at the front desk was really unpleasant to talk to . I don't know, if it is in all facilities she charched me 30 $ for early check in (1.5 hour earlier) i thought it was not nice I would go to a different hotel, usually they are happy to please you by upgrading or letting you in your room earlier ( if it is avaliable)"
