With a fairly large wardrobe containing a safe (password lock), different sizes of yukatas (bathrobes) and slippers (learner - for hotel indoor use; plastic flip-flops - for both indoor and outdoor use). Centralised air conditioning sometimes can be too hot, so you can ask for a circulator fan at the front desk. Staff: same as other places - sometimes can be more friendly when you speak Japanese; nothing more to ask for, really. Parking: despite the hotel owning a lot of parking spaces, during peak seasons it still can be very crowded but no worries, staff will guide you to the nearest public parking space which then can be used for free when presenting the parking coupon the staff gave you during check in. "

"I wish we stayed here longer, the staff were amazing and helpful even with the language barrier. The location is authentically Japanese, or as close as possible. The Onsens were amazing and food was delicious. I was planning on gate keeping the location so it doesn’t become too westernised, but the place is too amazing and hopefully it keeps its Japanese roots. "

"Overnight stay here. There is a shuttle bus service but it is not clear from booking how to access this. Onsen is further out of town than I expected. Clean comfortable hotel. Friendly staff helpful staff. Restaurant ok for dinner. Onsen use good and certainly an experience for the uninitiated such as myself. Suffice amenities in a small comfortable room. Good wifi. "
