Hotel di Shimo-yoshida

"Michael and his wife, Kotoha, are genuinely lovely people. They were incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating, and made me feel very welcome during my stay. The hostel itself is very well kept, exceptionally clean and tidy, with great facilities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. I really enjoyed my time here and would 100% stay again. Highly recommended."

"Room 410 is awesome"

"I booked 2 rooms—one for myself and one for my subordinate. During dinner, we were given a small table to share. I wanted to have some quiet time alone after work, so I moved to an empty table nearby. A Japanese waiter (wearing a vest) came over and spoke very rudely, insisting that I must sit with my subordinate just because we knew each other. He even asked me to carry all my food back. The restaurant had many empty tables, and it was not busy at all during 8pm to 930pm. I felt very...

"Good location and helpful staff. Overall pleasant short stay"

"This is my first stay in the hotel. The room is spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. The location is excellent, as there is a free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko Station and the Shinjuku-Kawaguchiko bus stop right at the hotel. Fuji's theme park is right next door, along with a 7-11 convenience store. The hotel is connected to a traditional onsen, and as hotel guests, we receive complimentary entry. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, with stunning views of Mount Fuji, and you...

"Room was not as nice as I thought it would be for what we paid, had everything we needed however and staff were nice and helpful with leaving baggage before check in"

"It was a peaceful stay. Check-in/check-out is done by tablet and was easy to understand. It was nice having a microwave in the room. I thought it would be scary to have a room open right to the outdoors, but it was convenient for coming and going quickly. There are snacks available, and the rooftop terrace is nice (beware of bugs like mosquitoes, though). The bed was comfortable. The TV is one of those with Netflix, Abema, YouTube, but no regular TV stations...? I couldn't find any regular...

"La verdad es que esta increible, es precioso las vistas el hotel esta increible y la comida muy buena! Ademas de que estas a un paseo del centro del pueblo, esta todo muuy buen conectado y no tengo ninguna queja del sitio y el servicio del hotel"

"Love it"

"I would give this hotel 6 stars, or infinity stars if I could. This hotel was simply fantastic. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. The entire property was clean, quiet, with clear attention to detail. The Onsen is HOT and amazing. The shuttle service you can use as you need to, and is free and incredibly convenient. FULL breakfast included was also great. Rooms such a nice size compared to city hotels. I will have stayed at ~30 different hotels this year for business and...

"quick check in process. room was good size and facing Mount Fuji"

"Roof top Fuji view is great. Kimono offering and public bath is wonderful. Has some difficulty to find out about transportation nearby. Lack of clear information. Hotel shuttle has no other stops. Made it difficult to get around the areas other than calling uber. Food are good but do not know what is on the menu. Overall very good experience"
