"Hillary greeted us and was very thorough on our check in and provided pertinent information for the area. Breakfast was amazing. Parking was right in front of the front door. Our room was very comfortable, clean and comfortable. Great bed provided an excellent sleep. Would highly recommend this accommodation. "

"First experience of a hostel and I could not recommend this type of accommodation enough. Wow value for money very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"The hotel was lovely; the staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful: right in the middle of all the action and quiet in the evening. Breakfast was very good, though a few suggestions: maybe not make toast before you get your eggs? Also, at a table for two, perhaps serve four, not three, pieces of toast? "We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. "

"This was our first time in Westport and was part of a roadtrip through Ireland. Westport was by far our favorite. The hotel had convenient FREE parking on site, rooms had all the amenities you needed and was in walking distance to the main shopping areas. Staff was extremely welcoming and the breakfast that was included with our stay was amazing. "

"Large and impressive hotel in Westport located about 20 minutes walk from the centre of town. Very friendly and efficient staff throughout the hotel. Our classic double room was spacious, spotless and well appointed with a great bathroom. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant- both experiences were very good with excellent food and service and great views. Plenty of free parking within the landscaped grounds. Would definitely stay again - unfortunately we only had one night...

"Screebe House is a beautifully peaceful getaway. We had a gorgeous view of the water. At night looking across the water was very little light. It was so peaceful. The food was very good with great portion size. Breakfast was included with a small buffet plus a made to order hot option. Dinner was a 2 or 3 course choice. "We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable. "

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
